Annual Golf Outing
On August 23, 2012, Community Opportunity Center (COC) and the Plymouth Community United Way (PCUW) will host our fourteenth annual golf outing at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center. We are one of more than 40 agencies supported by the Plymouth Community United Way. We work collaboratively with this United Way, and receive 50% of the proceeds from this event. We rely on fund raising activities to cover operating expenses, and the proceeds of this event become vital to the nearly 100 people with developmental disabilities that COC supports.
Relevant Information
The major sponsor this year is Johnson Controls and the co-sponsor is DTE Energy. This has become one of the most prestigious and well attended golf outings in Wayne County.
How You Can Help
Each year we secure sponsorships and tee signs for this fund raising event. Gift certificates or general donations, valued at $25 or more, are needed and we sincerely hope that we can rely on your support. It’s a great opportunity to promote your business and concurrently help two worthy organizations. Please review the Sponsorship Invoice sheet.
All gifts need to be at COC’s office (33150 Schoolcraft Road, Suite 104, Livonia, MI 48150) by June 22, 2012. All donors will be recognized in the program that is provided to all golfers. Should you have any questions, please contact COC’s office at (734) 422-1020.
Please note, that for those wishing to golf, the linked golf invitation is to be sent to Plymouth Community United Way. We would appreciate having donations, sponsorships and gifts sent to Community Opportunity Center, which is noted in the Sponsorship Invoice.
