Tee Off for A Friend
Our 12th annual golf outing, "Tee Off for A Friend," will occur on Thursday, August 19.
Location: Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center, 8768 N. Territorial, Plymouth
On Thursday, August 19, Community Opportunity Center and Plymouth Community United Way will host our annual golf outing at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center. We are one of more than 40 agencies supported by the Plymouth Community United Way. We work collaboratively with United Way and receive 50% of the proceeds from this event. We rely on fund raising activities to cover operating expenses and the proceeds of this event are vital to the nearly 100 people with developmental disabilities that COC supports. We need 368 people committed to golf to fill all three courses.
The Annual Golf Outing has become the centerpiece of our fund raising, so we rely on and greatly appreciate the support and involvement of all who work together to make this event successful.
We need folks to volunteer their time the day of the Golf Outing. You may offer your assistance for a full or half day.
To participate in the outing, provide a gift, become a sponsor, or volunteer your time at the outing, contact Denise at 734/422-1020. Whatever you can do to assist will be appreciated by all the men and women living in COC homes and apartments, the beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts.
